I was scheduled to leave for vacation in two hours. About 30 minutes ago a cop knocked on my door and informed me that my car had been totalled.

who did it? Was it an accident, or did someone just do it to be an *******?

However it happened... sorry... what a way to start a vacation :(

Well, I came back early to see if the car was done, but no...I don't know who did it, and I probably won't find out any time soon. But I got a cool Buick rent-a-car. :rolleyes:

Your car was totalled as in it was hit while it was parked?

*shrug* Go on vacation. Call your insurance company from the road and see if they will do the foot work while you are away. Just fill out the police report. :)

Well, I may have over-reacted a bit when I said "totalled". But the front end is really messed up. But I just came back from vacation, and all the insurance and police crap was done before I left. Thankfully, the actual vacation was about 1000000 times more fun than the events leading up to it :D:D
