I used to think that genetically modified foods would be a good thing: pest resistant plants requiring fewer pesticides.
However, a few months ago I discovered that I am allergic to peanuts. If for example potatoes were genetically modified to include peanut genes I'd be *****ed!
That depends if the potato contains the genes that cause your anaphylaxic reaction.
I'll eat geneticaly modified foods, just as long as I know what genes they put into it.

Somehow I don't think genes are going to be listed on packaging.:rolleyes:
If they were, I doubt anyone with less than five Ph.D.'s would be able to make any sense out of them.
