I don't know what I'd do without Outlook 2000 or XP. It rocks, especially compared (e-mail-wise) to Eudora. *shudder* The only thing I hate is the journal.

outlook is awesome in it's own fishness, but i am cooler http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...hreadid=101605
What's the difference between Outlook and Outlook Express?
Outlook Express only does e-mail, whereas Outlook is a full PIM with a calendar, notes, etc.
Outlook > Outlook Express
outlook is able to connect to exchange server as a client, not just a mail client like outlook express.
You can disable the jouranl.

I know, but I like it conceptually; for my mentorship, I need to record a by-day log (Thursdays and Fridays) of what I did. I realize I could just enter stuff in the calendar, but then only the titles will print. :(
Peer mentoring in school?
Why not just use MS Word? They don't expect sophistication. :p

Peer mentoring is when you show a little fish the way it is.Quote:

I find it's a useful way to sell drugs to small children who would otherwise buy no drugs.:D:D:D:D
At the moment, I did give in and use Word.
Actually...mentorship is where every Thursday and Friday I leave school DURING SCHOOL HOURS, go home and eat my hot microwaved lunch, and go to work and pretend to program. :D
Steady on, now, you reckless free-spirit ;)Quote:

You also can't connect to Hotmail using Outlook 2000, you need Express. I think Outlook XP can use HM though.Quote:

I had Outlook 2002 with hotmail but I didn't like it, now I don't even smell fish
The Hotmail intregration is pretty crappy, but if you can get your Hotmail automatically forwarded to a POP3 account (like the one an ISP gives you), then everything's .
My copy of Outlook XP gets my Hotmail just mine :D
