I've got FS5 (DOS!!), FS95, FS98 and FS2000.
I don't use them that much any more, got more work than I can handle...
I have the DOS version too. I was awesome at it with my two-button, no hat, no twist analog joystick. :D
I remember playing FS on a 286 monochrome laptop ;) Keyboard only :D
Just doesn't compare to Aviator on the BBC I'm afraid.
I played a 747 simulator on the BBC a while ago...still got it somewhere :)
more of a crimson Skies man myself :)
F22 Lighting Strike 3, and F22 Raptor here :)
No
I'll turn on the Taps.
I play With F16s in the skies.
I'm not really a fan of the series, but I have been playing with FS2000 professional recently as I'm rebuilding a full blown flight simulator (with my dad) for the local aerospace museum.
We're going to use FS2000 for the brains, and wire it up to all the gauges and switches etc. It's very flexible, and you can write VB apps that run in the background (this will be output Analog and digital signals via the printer port and taking in switch positions via the printer and keyboard connectors). We're also using Wideview to display it on multple monitors. At present it looks like we will have 4 or 5 monitors running on it.

Well, the reason I was asking is because we (my cousin and I) have written a program for FS2000 and am trying to sell it. Hehe, now don't take that that the wrong way.... I mean that we am TRYING to sell it, but not many people have purchased it. I am getting 0 feedback - none at all.
So I was just trying to see if there were many here who have FS2000 before I asked anyone to try it out. I'm not after bugtesters, I just want FEEDBACK so I can figure out why it isn't selling. My cousin emailed 10 people randomly selected off AOL who had "FS2000" in their profiles and asked them if they would be interested in trying it out and giving feedback, and 5 of them said yes. A week later we emailed them and gave them a survey, and not one replied.
I'm not posting this to get orders or make money - if anyone wants to give feedback, they can have a blasted copy free for all I care. I just can't figure out why it isn't selling.... We've got heaps of downloads on the free 14-day trial, but few orders. (Like 9 out of over 3000)
It was suggested by a friend that maybe the way I put stuff on the registration page wasn't convincing enough to make them buy. If anyone wants to see the page, it's here:

Like I said, I'm not trying to make money here... If you want it (which is unlikely), email me with your VB-world user name and mention this post and you can have a free unlock code.
If anyone has suggestions or comments, I would dearly love to hear them....

Cool! I'll try it out over the next couple of days and send you my comments.
Cheers,
SD
What does it do? I'd be willing to fire up my dusty copy of FS2000 and check it outQuote:

ChrisJK:
Here is a cut from my website: (http://www.spadeapps.com/fsmanager/)
FSManager 1.0.14 is designed to improve the realism and enjoyability of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 by allowing you to view current weather information and forecasts (METAR and TAF files) for over 240 countries in a clear and easy to understand format before each flight. After reading the weather reports and forecasts, you can then launch to a specific location and in the aircraft of your choice. This allows you to avoid the time consuming process of having to change location and aircraft once you are in Flight Simulator 2000. FSManager is also able to display the flight time that you have logged in Flight Simulator 2000 to allow you to easily keep track of the amount of hours that you have flown. Current users of previous FSManager versions will automatically receive the updated version.
You can get to the site by gong to

OK, great :D. And I'm looking for ANY kind of comments - if the program stinks, by all means say so, and why it stinks.Quote:
