Maybe touchpads aren't evil after all...
One of my first laptops was an IBM thinkpad, complete with trackpoint cursor device. I never thought I'd get used to touchpads...but my new VAIO has a touchpad, and it's not to bad. It has a driver that sets up "scroll" zones on the bottom and right edges, and it has a web browser "foreward and back" zone at the top of the pad. I find myself actually "liking" my touchpad. I'm even using my keyboard shortcuts less often.
So who invented the TouchPad
C'mon you lot..... who invented the touchpad?
It might not be who you think?
