http://www.000domains.com/ - $13.50/year
I've used them and they are great. You get a control panel where you can change billing/admin/technical info(that appears on the whois), and nameservers. I highly recomend them. http://www.vbforums.com/images/icons/icon14.gif
ok, I'm new to the world of domains, and I just signed up with 000domains, now what do I do?? Do I get a host with them or what?? :confused:Quote:

The quoting virus strikes again! :D
BTW, can I have a domain name WITHOUT ADS that redirects to my home page (http://www.liquid2k.com/filburt1) instead of one that just resolves to an IP address (Liquid2K's is 128.241.245.13 but they might have dyndns for all I know for DHCP)?
http://www.trinic.com offers advanced DNS services for redirecting, etc. Check them out.
1. So, using them, you're saying I could register http://www.someuniqueurl.com and have it go to http://www.liquid2k.com/filburt1?
2. What would happen if the user typed http://www.someuniqueurl.com/tinyclock? Would it go to http://www.liquid2k.com/filburt1/tinyclock?
They do not provide hosting. Most other places don't either(unless they are hosting companies offering domain registration).Quote:

www.venturesonline.com - They offer hosting(not free), and I've heard they are very good. I haven't used them, but when I get spare money for a host I'm going with them.
I already have a host. What domain registar can answer my two questions?
www.mydomain.com - They offer free DNS service... I'm using them right now for my domain. www.promasc.com - lovely isn't it? F2S hasn't answered back yet about *** I can't access my account via it's corresponding IP(which is what the CNAME is set to, that's so www.dewrenn.f2s.com/filename.zip would be www.promasc.com/filename.zip)Quote:
