what r the requirements for becoming a senior member?
:)
after you've posted 100 postings
When you registered, you were a Junior member. Soon afterwards, you became a member. I'm sure if you wait some more, you will become a senior member. It just takes time.
I think it's a bit more mystical than 100 postings as I don't seem to have reach that milestone yet...
I hope it isn't related to the number of messages posted, otherwise there might be people out there 'trying' to get Senior Member status by posting, how shall I put this, low-quality posts just for the sake of it (a bit like this one :))
I think it has to do with how long you are a member,(and maybe they use the number of posts to).
When you first sign up for the board, you are a Junior Member. After you have posted 30 messages, you become a Member. When you have posted 100 messages, you become a Senior Member.

If that is the case, Benski is a senior member but only has 51 posts......?
I have over a thousand posts. Does that make me an elderly member?
John said that some posts needed to be deleted.
I thought it was just something you're born with.
Sorry about the mix up guys. I think that we've got it fixed now.
John
Ha! Yup, Benski is now just a member! Sorry, Benski. :(
0 ... 29 = Junior
30 ... 99 = Member
100 ... 299 = Senior
300 ... 999 = Veteran
1000 ... 2999 = Guru
3000 ... 2999 = Real Monster
and so on! :)

Yeah, I'm not in school this semester so I'm usually up late doing VB or studying MCSD books....
i'd posted close to a 100...
but i just found out my status
had been reverted back to being
junior member...:(
back to the original question-
just don't mind your level,
in this forum, the quality of
the post is what counts (not
the level)...:)
Unfortunately, back in December we had to remove all posts dating before September because the board was getting too big. However, the old UBB did not update the count for your number of posts. This new system has recounted the number of posts that you have made according to what it has in its database. This is the number that will stay now.
Hopefully we will never have to remove old posts again now that we are on a new system.

I also encounter this. Ha... dun know wats going on?
