Note my witty comment in that second link. :D :D
Maybe John should re-brand the site...Programming World
Yeah, how many people program in just one language? That would be a little boring.
i feel sorry for anyone that has only programmed in VB.
I feel sorry for anyone who thinks the VB language is incredible. :D :D All I really love is the GUI aspect.
yeah, any time you hear basic after a language you know it can't be that good.
At least I know that it is an acronym for Beginner's All-Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code.
i learned basic first, when i was a beginner, and then moved on...some people just never move on. :(:D
*cough* ******s *cough*
Well, ANYTHING is better than Pascal. :D
Nah, COBOL's the worst language. And VB is a lot more powerful than people want to give it credit for.
I say COBOL's the worst language because I didn't like it. I was required to take a COBOL course when I was in college, and while it was easy enough to program with, I found it excessively verbose and cumbersome.
There's supposedly a shortage of younger people who want to work with it, but I think that means when the older programmers start to retire, there's gonna be big money for people who are still fluent in it.
