This offline web document is intended for you to help, understand and learn new things in Power Tweak. As Power Tweak works very high with files stored on your computer, it is important to me that you understand and are clear on some of the operations involved. Following this document and reading carefully will ensure that you understand exactly what is happening when Power Tweak is performing tasks and other operations. Ok then, I will begin this help document by presenting you with the first window you see when Power Tweak starts, and go in order to the last tab of the main interface.
INTERNET EXPLORER
Delete Cookies - When you are surfing the internet, saved details and preferences of visited web sites are stored here. Deleting them is completely safe, and may slightly improve your surfing speeds.
Delete History - This stores all your visited websites which are kept on your computer. These tracks can be safely removed so nobody can view what sites you have visited!
Delete Typed URL's - When you type a URL in the address bar, such as www.microsoft.com , IE stored your typed link names. You can also remove these safely.
Set Homepage:
Dropdown List - This list is just some suggestions which you can click, and it will add the specified text in the Text field.
Open IE - Opens IE and loads up the web page in which you have typed in the Text field.
Browse - You can use Power Tweak's built in file browser to search for web pages stored on your computer. Once loaded you can decided what to do with it.
Check Current - Checks your current set homepage
Set - Sets the website or web page file in the Text field to your homepage

MRU - (Most Recent Used)
Game Maker 5 - Deletes the most recent used GMD files used solely in Game Maker 5
MS Paint - Deletes the most recent used image files in MS Paint
Word Pad - Deletes the most recent used Text documents and files
Visual Basic 6 - Deletes the most recent used projects from the projects list

WINDOWS
Clear Recent Documents - Clears your recent document list from the Windows environment
Empty Recycle Bin - Empties the contents of your recycle bin. If item is ticked and you click the Start Cleaning button you wont be asked if you want to empty the recycle bin. All contents will be removed!
Start Button Text:
You can change the text on the Start button during your current windows session for fun. The only problem with this feature is the Start menu becomes disabled, i hope to find a fix for this in future versions.
Restore - If for some reason the Start button messes up, you can safely restore it. Useful if some other program has damaged the Start Button!
Set - Sets the text from the Text field and applied it to the Start button.
Desktop Wallpaper:
Check Current - Checks to see what your current applied wallpaper is
Browse - Using Power Tweak's file browser, you can search for a image to set as your wallpaper. Only supports Bitmap files
Set - Sets the wallpaper you picked from the file browser to your desktop

OPTIONS
General:
Minimize to system tray - If ticked, then when you minimize Power Tweak, it will hide the program in the System Tray (like shown below)
Remember details - You should keep this ticked if you would like Power Tweak to remember your details. Such details include ticked items to be cleaned, special window colors etc. They are stored in the folder of which Power Tweak is run, named Setting.ini If you delete this file you will always get the welcome message when you load Power Tweak
Use special windows - Also know as skinning Power Tweak allows you to load its built in skin
Program Color:
If you are using the special windows feature you can choose a color you would like to use out of:
Aqua
Blue
Bronze
Green
Gold
Red

The File Browser is a built in tool for you to search for web pages and images. To use simply browse through from the left, select your file once you have found it and click OK. Its as simple as that!
