Hi, I think this may have been asked before but I'm clueles =( so here goes - How would I go about making a database driven app for the internet? It would allow interaction in that when you selected this and that it would produce this. hmmmm..... I don't know if I'm making my question very clear. Well for starters how do I use activex on the net, I made an activex exe, but when I put it on a mock up page and tried it(locally) it showed one of those messed up pictures indicating it's not there or it's messed, so how do I do that? Oh and how do I tell the app to connect to a datbase that's on the internet? Heheh, ok so I'm asking alot, I hope someone can shed some more light on this mysterious topic.

For accessing databases, use ASP. VB combined with ADO and ASP make a good combination for accessing databases. You will need IIS Server for this.
