Is it released yet? All I've seen is screenshots, previews and trailer movies, and it looks pretty awesome, visually at least, and I do plan on getting it if the reviews are remotely good. I thought it wasn't out yet.

came out last friday Harry, but i only got it yesterday. Plays like a cross between resident evil and SOF. the best part is using the matrix style "Bullet time", diving through the air whilst having two hand guns going off, is extremly satisfying

Oo cool... what really impressed me, apart from the videos I downloaded including the bullet time bit (very, very cool) was the detail textures on the faces, seemed a lot better than other stuff I've seen.

Is it third-person perspective? My memory is a little fuzzy.

sure is mate, hence the cross resident evil - sof, **** loads of bloody violent mess . I'm running it on my 1.3 athlon, but with only a 16mb riva 1 and it still looks and plays really well. god know what it will be like once I got my Geforce 3 . One very small grumble about it is the cross hair, it's a small white circle which you can lose sometimes in the thick of things. apart fromt that, it is still a superb game

All I saw of it was the bit in 3DMark2001 when that was first released and yes, it's WAAAAAAAY cool. I'll probably wait for a bit cuz I'm cheap as ****e.
