    how can i find out all the softwares that are installed in the particular system using win32 API in VB?

    If not all the softwares you can use the registry to get the names of those in the 'Add/Remove Programs' software in Control Panel

    Path (Windows 98 SE):
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
