I am trying to create a VB program that will overlay a transparent background flash file on top of an MPEG (or MPEG-2) MediaPlayer object, but with no luck. I have tried putting in a Mediaplayer object with an MPEG-2 movie, then a Flash asset in the project, and both will play fine. I set the Flash background to transparent, then moved the Flash asset directly on top of the MPEG file, and when I run it, all that will play is the Mediaplayer File. When I move them apart, so they are overlaid by 50%, the Flash will run, but at a horribly slow framerate, while the Mediaplayer MPEG just keeps chugging along fine. Does anybody know how I can do this so that both will play while the Flash is at a layer above the Mediaplayer MPEG?
