I recently purchased a DDE Server for use with a PLC I am working with. I started writing a VB app to use the server to communicate with the PLC.

The problem is that I have sixty labels I am using on one form. Thirty of which are connected through the server.

It takes a while for me to read all the info. unless I click on the server itself afterr the form is running. Then it flys.

Here is the question. How do I program my form that once it is up to give focus to the server? Is there a better way to do this? Or would it be better write my own server into this app. I do not know how to do this either. Sure could use some help.
