hey guys,
i was wondering if anyone has any info on using C++ to create a sequencer like app or generally on making a music app of some sort (producing music) ?

I know everyone is going to hate me for saying this...but nukem has a demo for sound on PSC...just do a search for Mediaplayer. His name is Lee Trager.

There is no contest, you would so whip me hands down. The best kinda thing i want to achieve is to play several samples down into a buffer to make a tune up.

So you want to make up a wave buffer from separate files/data in memory?
DirectSound is pretty good for this.

go to www.google.com and saerch for c++ sound lib, it will bring loads of stuff n what you need
