Hai All,
I want to interact with the hardware devices at the client computer.
So what should i prefer . I think javascript definately should have some solution for it but i don't know how.
What i need exactly is ,I want to get the cliendside ethernet card
Company and model name. Definately this Is possible . Can Anyone say How To. please,please .........

Sorry, but this is not possible. That is a MAJOR security issue. There is no way to do that in Javascript.

the only way you can do this is if the client downloaded a program and installed it and then went back to the website and then ran another program that would talk to the program previously installed. doesn't make since does it.
goto http://updates.cnet.com/ as they did a hardware scan. not sure if they do it anymore. but they do do a software scan that is basically the same thing.
