MS Office 2000 Animated Assistant
I would like have the animated assistant from Microsoft Office on my desktop all the time, instead of only when I run an office program. How could I code a program to show the office assistant, but not use it for help, instead only have it showing for the sole purpose of its funny animations?

Y would you possible want to do that. Those things are the most annoying things ever. But anyway, the only way i can think of is to using somethink like lotus screen cam and record the different annimations andd then use the windows media player ocx to play them back with timers etc.
I think MS Agent is quite similar and thats designed to be programed with. I havt used it in a while but as i recally, its not the same characters but similar ones and use can program them to say stuff etc.

I know this is a tangent, but do a search on vIgor. It is an office assistant designed for "use" with vi or vim.
