I see the message
The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later. just to often.
I also saw a completely useless thread in the chit-chat forums with more than 10,000 posts. It somekind of a post race. I assume it takes a lot of the server's resources. I think that nobody will miss it very much.

Hehe Vlatko, that's what the Chit Chat forum is for; useless posts!

Evil trick
LOL!!! Some may object, but I can knock out about 9500 of those posts. I was one of the first 500 or so people who posted there. I'll just delete one of my posts and then say bye bye to all of the rest... What an EVIL, VILE scheme...
But no! I will not do that as it is TOO evil and vile. Many will be very mad at me!

I was the 5th person to post in the post race, BTW, if you delete a post, the posts after it remain the same.... they will not go away unless you are the thread starter and you deleted the first post in the thread.
I think that nobody will miss it very much.
What are you talking about?
Almost anybody who participates in the Chit Chat forum will miss it.... BTW, I don't think John's gonna get rid of it..... He wants to see if it reaches 17,xxx(can't remember the exact number).... 17,xxx is the highest number of posts john has ever seen in one thread. And it only reached that high because of a stress test John put it to.... so it is about 17,000 "testing 123..." posts

So thats why that thread seemed boring and repetitive. That clears that up then.

Haven't had this problem, maybe different time frames, or different baud rates between Countries????

Well ...
I don't know why, but I have received this message, too. But if I click on the Back button, everything seems to go fine.
As part of my good wishes, I shortened my page-long signature and also deleted all but a few threads in the Chit Chat forum. Can't dare do the same with the other forums, and because of some strange reasons, I have already lost more than 130 posts.

Nope, you can't do it. Every one and anyone who has seen this thread will miss it with all their hearts, and besides i was the first person to reply to it not sure if i started off the trend of putting in a word a post at first or whether people had thought of it but i was the quickest. but you can't get rid of it....please?
Now, aren't you sorry you didn't just keep on scrolling?

OK if you delete a thread, answer in Chit Chat it reduces your count, even though it doesn't add to your count.
Is this a sad and sorry joke on Jame's part.

Well...I have a high enough count that I don't really care how big it is now
But if the Post Race is deleted I will personally be dispensing emails containing an automatic c:\con\con to people...you have been warned
(and unlike nukem...I'm not some leet haxor )
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".
