ERROR 0x800706BE.. in ASP

Hi we are using
windows2000 server and IIS 5.0 ..
when the COM object gets called,
we get ERROR 0x800706BE..
Coding using ASP, java script

This error is also not for all test samples..
it is intermittent

I checked MSDN.. and it says IIS 4.0 and NT ..
but we are not using this..

I had a strange problem similar to this, but cannot remember the exact error.
I fixed it by removing the antivirus checking for the wwwroot and sub web folders, and all worked again.
Is the COM component you are calling the web root or sub folder?, if not, then I suggest you test with it registered there. This may point to a permissions glitch using the IUSR_XXX user.
Is your COM component creating any file output? If so check the permissions for that path also.
