How?

Hello yall,

Take a program for example like Internet Exployer.
While the program is minimized how would i change
the users home url.
This example helps tell you what im trying to do.
Im trying to make a program that changes settings to another program w. out manually going up too the File menu -> then the Options-> advanced etc etc.
How would Igo about doing this.
I want to avoid the registry if possible.
If not tell me what api to use.

Perhaps I'm way out of line here and totally missunderstand what you are trying to do, but wouldn't hotkeys (Shortcut's) to those menus be a good start? Or are you talking about making ( Ahem! ) someone else's IE type program redirect to another location? Which I quite frankly do not know how to do.

In any event I hope this helps, or prompts you to clarify what you want to do.
