    Permission Denied on OCX Debug

Whenever I try to run the debug project to test my ocx, I get a "permission denied" message everytime.

There's nothing unusual. I do these things since ever and then, I don't know why, neither microsoft does, apparently.

I checked my folders configurations, and all of them are marked as read only, and I can't change it. Maybe that's the problem, anyway, I don't know what's really happening. I thought that if I got to fix the compiler problem that would be all right, but now I see that there's a lot more.

    Any ideas?

What operating system are you using? What version of VB are you using. Maybe the read-only flag is the reason for your other related post?

Re: Permission Denied on OCX Debug

I turned my firewall off and things just worked out regularly, like in the old times.
It seems sometimes a firewall can set Your things on fire! That's the most likely!
I always worked these stuffs normally, but ever since I got a new supersafe firewall (Comodo Free), it started to happen. Something like it happened a few months ago, I did the same and came back working. Now I have to discover the config settings apropriate and move on.
    Thanks for attention!
