    Privacy Settings

    Couple of questions:

    1) Is there a way to turn OFF friend requests, or to have them denied automatically. Call me antisocial if you like, but for me, this site is more about professional interaction, not so much social... I'm already plugged into social networks more than I really care to be. It's not that I don't like the people here, I'm sure most are fine people, I just don't care to have yet another network of people.

    2) Privacy Settings... hmmm... I can set some of my blocks so that it shows for "Everyone" "Registered Users" "Contacts" "Friends" .. but there isn't a "No One" option... I've worked around it by sharing it with "My Friends"... since my friends list is empty, it has the same net effect.

    * I also don't respond to friend requests. Save a few bits and don't bother. I'll just end up rejecting anyways.*

    Re: Privacy Settings

Unfortunately, the answer is no in both cases. The software does not currently contain these possibilities.

I figured as much... seeing as that seems to be the direction of things out there on the web... everything is being FBookified out there... everybody seems to assume that everyone wants to be linked. OK, I'll just continue to deny the requests, and as long as I keep my friends list empty, my settings should work.
