[RESOLVED] Is Adobe CS3 really compatible with Win7?
Hello everyone,
I've searched on the net and Microsoft website and every source indicates that Adobe CS3 is fully compatible with Win7. However, I ran into problems after installing CS3 on Win7 machines.
As a test, I installed CS3 on 2 machines running Win7 Ultimate. One has an AMD Athlon II x2 running win7 ultimate x64 and the other one has Intel Core 2 Duo running Win7 ultimate x86. Adobe CS3 installed and ran with no problems initially on both machine. However, after running Adobe update to bring CS3 up to date, both machines can no longer access the Internet. Ipconfig /all looks OK. Win7 doesn't detect any problem with the network, but it just doesn't get any where (intranet and internet). No other software/updates were installed from the time the the machines worked till they broke except the Adobe CS3 updates as mentioned above. I ran system restore on both machine to restore them back to the time prior to CS3 installation, and they can connect again. However, this also removes the CS3 suite from the computer.
So my conclusion is Adobe CS3 updates were the cause.
So my question is, has any of you experienced the same thing?
Let us have faith that right makes might, and in that faith, let us, to the end, dare to do our duty as we understand it.
