Coding for Android?
Any of you coded for Android yet? Just wanted your opinion on the whole thing. Whether it was easy, or difficult, painful, stress free, etc. Are you absolutely restricted to using Java, or have you found other languages to use?

I had a look when I got the tattoo, it seems tightly coupled to java which I think is the son of the devil. If you look hard enough there are posts about that show how to get a mono implementation running although I would imagine that it is quite limited!

I guess the problem with Mono is that not everyone's going to get it. Hey, maybe Java isn't so bad. .NET is a Java clone of sorts, so how hard could it be... right?

Re: Coding for Android?
Programming in Android is kind of programming C# with WPF.
Pretty much the only difference is that you need other imports/includes/whatever.
(sorry for the poor terminology, languages confuse me )
Delete it. They just clutter threads anyway.

Re: Coding for Android?
I'm pretty sure it's a form of Java, but then to a large extent so is C#.
