    Time to update my library

I have looked at my bookshelf and realized all my books are WAY out of date. SQL 7, the VB 6 reference book, an ASP classic book, and multiple .NET 1.0 books. What I am looking for are suggestions for some good books to start replacing these with and what publishers are good these days. Wrox used to be high quality. I am wondering how they are these days. I don't really have to have books, but I always like having a good physical reference library.

I already got a couple real good ones from Manning:
    C# in Depth
    LINQ in Action

    Hey,

Lately, because I have been studying for some Microsoft Exams I have been buying books from Microsoft Press, and to be honest, I am finding them to be very good. I find as well that you can't really go wrong with an O'Reilly or Wrox book, I have found them to be very well writen.

Are you looking for a book on a particular topic, or more just general .Net?

Mostly .NET. But what I am more interested in is which publishers have the best quality these days. I remember Wrox was always good. But I have had a couple issues with O'Reilly in the past. Manning is the only publisher I have recent books for and I am very happy with their quality.

But at any rate I think I got my answer. I will take you word for it that Microsoft Press and Wrox are still great publishers. I might buy one O'Reilly book to see if they can win me back.
