Fried Chicken is great for breakfast. Pizza isn't that good though, it gives you heart burn for the rest of the day. Well unless your willing to drink that chalky crap

I have a Texan grandmother (i guess that makes her western) and she makes awesome Chicken and Dumplings too. Here in the 'deep south' they call Chicken and Dumplings Chicken Pasty and they don't put the actual chicken in it, just the broth, weird.

The best fried chicken
The best fried chicken I've ever had is not from the 'deep south' of america but from the south west of England! In a town called Crediton.
Still I'm sure they took the idea from you americans.

Dennis - if cold pizza in the morning makes you feel bad, stick it in the microwave.
BTW: Curry's great for breakfast.

Not to flaunt my (albeit feigned) culinary expertise and Southernhood, but I just can't accept the premise that British chicken of any sort could rival the crispiness, tenderness, and overall delectability of my mamma's special Southern Fried Chicken.
Next you'll be telling us the grits in Prague are second to none and the barbecue brisket in Rome is "to die for".

Why not?

Why not indeed? Is there something wrong with British Chickens? OK, I know we don't pump our meat full of hormones (like you do in the states) but we have been cooking chickens for a long time here.
Still, maybe I should shutup until I've been over there and tried some.

"Experts" say there is nothing wrong with British or chickens idependently, but the two items combined can produce disastrous results.
Side effects are said to include witty claymation film scripts.
