    Any Supper man know to read "HDD Factory number" from VB5 or VB6.

    If you mean the disk serial number, try GetDiskSerialNumber API. Sorry I don't have VB in this machine, but do a search in this forum, as this has been answered before.

    A little warning: HDD serial number is not a Factory number, it is a random number that BIOS (or who knows who) gives the disk every time it is fomatted.
    (Try with a diskette and you'll see)
