Has IR35 forced up contract rates?
Or lowered contractors net income?
Or both?

Personal opinion is that the rates seem to be up slightly, and were getting taxed more. But IMHO, we get paid too much comaritavely anyway. If the government use that extra tax effrctively, then I don't have much of an issue. The only thing that grates me is that they are driving some contractors out of the country, yet giving out visas to foreign IT staff like lollipops.

Yes that is a disgrace.
Did you hear about the agency that was offering people £1000 to name current contractors who could be replaced with cheaper foreigners? Modern day bounty hunting?
