I am having problems with GIFs that is when I try to save a chart/graph on a web page , I only have the option of saving it as a BMP even though I can
successfully link through to the actual GIF image.
I am using IE 5.5, could it be there are some settings in the application that created the GIFs in the first place that limits the saving options. Or is it something to do with the machine's file associations?
I really need to get to the bottom of this one so many thanks in advance if anyone can help

I think it might have something to do with the file extension of the link to the image. Is the chart generated by something so that it doesn't look like but rather ?
