[RESOLVED] Instant notification does not work
Hello,
I hope this is the right place for my question which has to do with email notification. I do not get emails even though I am suscribed to 11 threads in the VB Forum. The network administrator added vbforums.com to the list of safe senders but I still do not get anything. I did the same thing in Outlook although I would get the email in the Junk Email folder.
Is there something else I am overlooking? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Instant notification does not work
Have you tried it with another email address?

Re: Instant notification does not work
I used my home email address and forwarded it to work. My network admin was not getting any of the emails but it is working through my ISP.
Thank you for following up.

Re: Instant notification does not work
We have had comments on this situation before and in each instance it was the fault of the ISP, not this site.

Re: Instant notification does not work
Thank you Hack,
I solved the problem by sending the notifications to my private email and forwarding it back to work. Now I get them.

Re: Instant notification does not work
As stated, this is usually an issue with ISPs.
Yesterday, however, we did have a backlog created, but it was cleared by the end of the day. There are no known issues on the VBForums site at this time. As such, notifications should be happening.
Brad!

Re: Instant notification does not work
Thank you Brad,
I think that we are our own ISP but I cannot say for sure. Even though it would be nicer if I did not have to have the mail rerouted thru my own ISP I am content with the present situation.
Thank you for responding. Can't say that your questions are ignored on this forum. So many answers for one little question. Love it
