    Hi there.

People have asked this before, but topics have either gone unanswered or a reply doesn't work. So i'll ask again..

How can you make the background of transparent, but keep an image of something still visible, like a screen mate.

If you are unfamiliar with screen mates, they are little people/animals that un about your desktop, but it is only a picture of them, not the rest of the form (the picture is never rectangular...)

Have pity on me, a couple of days ago someone pulled out from a gas station right in front of me and now my car is likely to be a write-off - so i'm trying to console myself by making a screen mate...

So can any of you guys help???

    Thanks,

I think with the screen mates as you call it, the pictures really are rectangular, the just capture the select area of the screen behind them and paste that in as a picture around the graphic.
Allthough, there is a way to make the picture rounded or irregular, you have to look into making oddshaped forms in the Topic Areas of VB-World.

    Hope that helps.
