hi
i want to convert the digits to numbers like 123.50 to one hundred and twenty three point five zero.pls help me.actually i am looking for converting the digits to indian rupees

You don't mention which kind of BASIC you are using, but hopefully a VB version (here) will provide a useful starting point for you.

With some changes, my 'number to words' will work.
Search the the '.' and make two passes.
