Anyone going to xxxConnections
Anyone going to DevConnections or any of the Connection shows in Las Vegas next week? If so, let me know. I'll be there a day or two myself and it is always great to meet people face-to-face!

Re: Anyone going to xxxConnections
This sounded alot more enticing as triple x connections.
I wish I was. Maybe next year, this year is just too nuts for me to get away.

It is in Vegas.... I guess there is a chance for XXX connections too....
I, however, will be focused on the various technical sessions and such occurring at the Mandalay Bay

Mandalay Bay is one of the top hotel/casinos there. I have stayed there a few times, not cheap at all but very nice ammenities.
You can go ride a wave at their man-made beach etc.

Yeah, it (Mandalay Bay) is very nice. I tend to stay next door -- which is half the cost plus it makes me do a bit of walking -- which is good excercise

DevConn is expensive though isnt it? Like $1,000+?
You know you can take the mnorail from any of the 4 connecting hotel/casinos. No walking needed

Half the time, walking to and from the monorail pickup points is farther than simply walking to the place you are going.....
Yeah, conferences can cost money, but the networking opportunities are worth it, as is some of the information imparted! The value is there is you know how to tap into it!
