5 years ago, I wrote a communications library in a combination of C and ASM. This library worked well with the 8250 and 16550 UART's, but will not work with the newer 16650 and 16750 UART's.
Does anybody out there have any knowledge as to the differences that are required to handle the newer UART's, and if so are you willing to impart that knowledge ?
