Re: VB - 3D Pie Chart

Very nice

If you continue with this project, I suggest you add things like edge shading, anti-aliasing etc. to give it that extra touch.

Functionality is magnificent; I like the 3d flip-over feature!

Any chance of making this some kind of usercontrol?

Re: VB - 3D Pie Chart

Thanks

I was originally thinking of making it into a usercontrol, but I decided against it for now. If i have time, i'll try to make a usercontrol version of it as well as condense the code a bit more . For the edge shading and the anti-aliasing, I have no idea where i could start on those

Re: VB - 3D Pie Chart

Shading and anti-aliasing would be about 2 lines of extra code if you rewrite this in dotnet.

Re: VB - 3D Pie Chart

i suggest the "exploding pie chart" option which wouldn't be that hard to change. simply change the center for each color.

Re: VB - 3D Pie Chart

I got a new computer with vista (terrible aye), and so I no longer have VB6 installed, so I doubt i'll get much chance to change this version any more.

As for a dotnet version, I did create one a while back, but i stumbled into a few problems, so i've given it up on it for now, but i hope to maybe finish it sometime in the future.
