How come, if VB-World is UK-based, all the dates are in mm/dd/yyyy format?
It gets really confusing after a while Maybe it could be customised to the user - another option in the profile screen, like the time zone?
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".

It's a bit illogical, though. I mean - okay, it comes from dates like Jan 6th, 2000, but you don't use mm:hh:ss, do you?
Anyway - it's not a discussion on which is better...it's a request for CHOICE.
Also - you lot are american so naturally you won't know what's best

Even though I'm happy with the time since I am from EST and it's exactly the same time, that'd be a good idea parksie. Like in your profile..choose the format you want to have the date .
Another added to John's list of things to do .

I think John's been crushed under that list now

With you all the way Parksie, I never understood why they put months first. Madness

well, I was just kidding.... I think it's better because I've been using it all my life, but dd/mm/yy makes A LOT more sense.....

same with "the standard system"
how the hell do you just come up with something like that?
12" a foot, 3' a yard... that doesn't make sense... 16oz a pound.... I like metric a lot better... it's based on tens, and most of all, it makes sense...

Conversions are a hell of a lot easier with it
