Thread: Virus Checker, detect when a file has been opened in windows

    Im writing a virus checker type program and i need to know when any file has been opened in windows.

    I'm guessing this would be an API call to find this out, probably using some kind of hook procedure.

    Found an Answer

    I have a C program from kedaman which detect's any type of access to a file. I am in the proccess of writing a DLL for it so it can be used in Visual Basic.

    Anyway, it doesn't matter any more

    There Is A OCX Which Notifies you when a program/File is changed, created, deleted or opened. For Details EMail Me.
