Thread: How can I open a URL in a frame

    I mean, in my webpage i have 2 frames, one is the menu, and the other the display, i want to be able to change the display frame when i click on a button in the menu, how can i do that?

    I didn't reply when I first saw the post because I thought you wanted to see a rendered html page. Now that I've read your post, I don't know what you want.

    If you want to type a url like http://mysite.com in the menu frame and have it render in the display frame what you would see in a browser, then I don't yet know how to do this. Let me know if you find out.

    But if you just want to get to the html source like "View | Source" on MS IExplorer or like "View | Page Source" on Netscape, then I can help you. After that, the next step is to render the source we just got.
