    I was wondering where I can find information about the use
    of Windows Sockets Api in VB ... Any help is welcomed
    Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition

    You can also use the Microsoft Winsock Control, it's a wrapper around the api.
    If you really want to use the api, look here: http://www.vbapi.com/ref/funcc.html#winsock and search for some examples on planet-source-code.
