I'm working with Visual Basic 5 for almost two years now. I started with Win95. Then I moved on to Win98 and last week I installed Win98 SE. Now I have to following problem: if I want to use a winsock control or common dialog control, ... on my form I get the error that I haven't got the right license to use the control. I never had this error. Can anyone explain me how this could have happened and how I can solve it? I also have Service Pack 3 installed.
Thanks!!!

Thanks Clunietp. It worked for every control except for the winsock control. Maybe you know another solution?
Thanks a lot anyway!

Windows 98 SE may upgrade some certain files that go from say 5.0 -> 6.0 or whatever. This sometimes means you can't use it in VB until your licence is updated.
