I've got a program that requires that the users enters their login name and password, which at the minute I store in an Access database. I would like somehow for the software to check against the password the users uses to log onto the network. Can this be done and if so how.
Its on a Win 95 workstation over an NT network.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

on a more helpful note, i suggest you store the passwords in the registry, (not as scary as it sounds) because it will be much faster, and quicker to update too. Unless you have a good reason to put it in a .MDB
email me if you need info on registry

Microsoft isn't stupid enough to tell anyone how to veryfy NT passwords... notice no-one's but Microsoft's software demonstrates this ability?
