    Question

    I'm connecting to AS/400 trough ODBC. The Adodc1.refresh after a Select is very slow. Any advice will be appreciated.

    The performances between Os400 and Vb Appls are directly connected on the Os400 release and the ODBC you use. F.e. Hit ODBC performs better than Ca400 ODBC (V3R1 or V3R2), V4R5M0 (Os400) is (much) better than V3R2M0, a large record on As400 with a lot of records (> 50.000) produce a very low performance. There are several ways to bypass the problem. Tell me (If you want) more about your problem (rel, kind of procedure, type of DB) and then will see.
