    Resolved [Resolved] - Deploy Failed

    Hi!

I create a simple form for Pocket Pc, when I am deploying it on Pocket PC 2002 Emulator it is working ok, but when I try to deploy it on Pocket PC Device, it gives “Error: Cannot establish a connection. Be sure the device is physically connected to the development computer.” Whereas, my Pocket PC is on cradle, and is synchronizing with desktop, and transferring some test files to Pocket PC.

The attached screen shot shows error and contents of Solution Explorer.

    Any idea?

generally if you install MS ActiveSync, prior to version 3.8, AFTER you install Visual Studio it messes up the registry settings for debugging and deploying to the device...

You may need to reinstall visual studio....

then make a back up of the registry settings
