    Attachments!?!

    hi all!!
    whenever i attach any file in vbforums it displays a bar indicating the space left.

    is there any way to delete those files after few days??

    i'm pretty sure the attachment limit is only per post....not a total..

    nope........the bar shows the total storage allowed and how much u have used irrespective of posts.

    it means total!!

    Every user has a maximum quota they can use up.
    You can edit a certain post and delete the attachment from it. there is also an Attachments section in the User Control Panel

    Every member has a 15MB limit attachment quota. It is not advisable to delete attachments if they are relevant to the
    thread/post. When others search and view your thread it wont make sense or help if the important attachment is gone.

    You should have no reasons to worry about hitting the limit, even for a poster like me, I still have 50%+ space left.

    Don't you mean 20 megs? I already used up 9.58 megs and the bar is at the halfway point.
