American Beauty Or Fight Club??


I thought American Beauty was going to be some crappy love story..boy was i wrong.it is cool... watch it ,it is just
so sad because **** like does really happen. thats all i can say..now i know why it won 6 acadamey awards .

Also i thought fight club..was just going to be another fighting movie...but nooooo it's more than that..hehe.

What was it that brad pitt said... i think it was "Women rule the world...I dont think wanting another woman is the answer we were looking for."

Just watch those two movies..you wont be disapointed.

If you haven't, you should also see "The Jackal". That movie KICKS ASS!!!!!! It is my all time favorite.

Ive seen both those movies, and they are AWESOME!!!! And the irony, is that they both send the same message. I actually see myself in Kevin Spaceys life (in American Beauty) in about 20 years.

Actually I think that the Jackal is just more of the same Hollywood bullshit. They somehow managed to remove everything that was good about the original film, and, place loads of new pieces in that were to be perfectly honest, ****.

I suggest you watch the original. The Day Of The Jackal. That is a classic movie, and thankfully it is devoid of any Hollywood love stories, actors that don’t fit the roles, and cheesy happy endings.

American Beauty was a fabulous movie and it amazes me that it won awards...usually the idiots that give out awards for movies have pitiful taste.

I found Fight Club to be a stupid and ugly waste of film. I can't really speak with authority on it because it was so bad that I stopped watching it about half way through.

Usually the movies that you want to win an award never do, or the crappyiest movie wins all of the awards...like romeo and juliet last year.

I Enjoyed fight club, i might have enjoyed it more if i wasnt so drunk when i watched it but oh well that was another matter .

I think I have wacked tastes in movies...so I don't expect the movies I like to win anything...but I still think the people that dole out the awards have horrible tastes! To illustrate how messed up my tastes are, I think that The South Park Movie and Beavis and Butthead Do America are two of the better movies released in the last decade. * snicker * My wife even likes those two and she's usually into the sappy/crappy movies that do win awards.

I guess I'll have to watch Fight Club all the way through to see if I get a better impression.

I totally agree about Beavis and Butthead & South Park, they were damn funny. Much better than most of the award-winning **** we see nowadays. I mean look at Titanic - who wants to see that? It's a bit predictable don't you think? Maybe it was a good film, I wouldn't know cos I avoided it like the plague.

It' sad actually..lately when i hang around some friends of mine..i actually start getting amused by there misfortunes, hehe like if one of them loses a girlfriend i laugh..i know it's a dickhead thing to do..but they would do it to me as well.

I agree with PWNettle. Fight Club was stupid! Haven't seen American Beauty yet. Guess that is next. Everyone rave over X-Men. It was good but not fantastic like the hype.

My all time favorite movies are Barney the Purple Dinosaur, the Power Rangers, and Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Chalie's Angel is coming out and Roid Boy Arnold is coming out with a new one too.
