Strange Monitor displays...
Hi all, i have just thought about posting a problem i have had for a while regarding my old PC.
The monitor keeps displaying everything in a strange tint of blue whenever knocked (or sometimes when not) (and no, its NOT the tint setting on the monitor itself, its foine and then all of a sudden it will flash a blue tint n back to normal, and then blue tint again..etc)
I resolved this problem about 3 months ago, well, i used a matchstick to wedge mt ATI Radeon 9200SE graphics card, but, thats not working anymore, i cannot tighten the screws anymore with the connecting wire to the Monitor (from the graphics card) is there anything i can do to help fix this problem ?

I had a similar problem with my monitor, except it went all different colours. It can sometimes be a loose connection inside the monitor. If you know what you are doing you could have a go at trying to fix it, but if not I wouldn't advise it because montitors build up huge static charges

Have have this exact same problem, except it's green. I found it's the connector either to my DVI-VGA adapter or the adapter to the GFX card, if it's not sitting properly in the socket i.e. drooping, then the colour signals tend to suffer.
Try straightening the cable in the back of the computer or wriggle it around and see if it fixes it.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

Yeah, i've traced whats causing it now, its the connector into the Graphics card, i have no idea how to fix it as there is no real space to the rear of my Tower to straighten the wire...
I'm thinking of changing the positioning of the Cmputer to save the monitor, and graphics card...
Thanks for the suggestions, anymore are welcome

Ouch, I can't imagine it would be doing the cable much good in that case. The best you can do I suppose is as you suggested, rearrange your case so there is a little more room for the cable, or tie some string around the cable and attach it to the case to help prop it up.
