Writing Data Cd's in XP
We have a portable usb cd writer here, and if i plug it into my win xp machine it all works fine, and I geta little wizard poping up asking me if I want to create a data cd. I plug it into one another xp machine and the cd drive gets installed but I can't seem to get it to create a data cd, it just says device not accesible.
This is a Freecom FX1 cd writer.
Any ideas would be great.

Re: Writing Data Cd's in XP
that is because you either dont have cd writing on or there is another cd writing program that took over writing to a cd
to enable CD writing: right click on drive>properties>recording>Enable Writing to CD
