How to program a password for a template that is opened?
Hey forum people!
I was wondering how to give a password with the document that is reffered to in the Visual Basic for Applications in word 2003.
I used the following code :
Documents.Add Template:= _
"M:\letter.dot", _
NewTemplate:=False, DocumentType:=0
But I cant seem to add a password to it.. so that I dont have to type it
when "letter.dot" opens (wich is ofcourse protected by a password)
Hope u can help me.. or at least help me along

Welcome to the Forums.
If you use the .Open method then you get the password option.
VB Code:
Documents.Open FileName:="C:\Test.dot", PasswordTemplate:="123"

But I can't use the .Open method because then it'll only Open the template and not start a new template based on letter.dot
And the .Add method does not include the Password option.
So I'm looking for something else...
