I a new toy, about the only one that doesnt have a plugin for external power supply, my Rio 300PMP special edition, but since I Cant plug into it like a car power supply, I have to use batteries, I've been more for duracell, but with the new types of batteries out, like Energizer E2 and so on, which is better, Duracell or Energizer.

(my Rio300 takes a single DoubleAA which is supposed to last 10 hours of use on a generic battery)

    Thumbs up

I've always preferred Energizer over Duracell. I haven't tried the latest ones.

Or you could save yourself some cash in the long run and also do the environment a favour by using rechargeable ones. If they're available get lithium ion, they last longer.

    Thumbs up Duracell

    Duracell...it keeps going and going.

Oh wait, no that's Energizer. Well, I like Duracell better. To tell you the trust, batteries are expensive! If you ever want batteries just to put in a bowl, which I do, incase I need some, go buy the cheap ones. They will run for a while. If you are looking for long lasting though, choose Duracell. Or maybe Energizer. Damn, that competition is complicated...they leave you to choose!

Talking My favorite: Rusty's Battery Tank

No, really, I prefer Energizer over Duracell.
Once an Energizer battery lasted for me about 16 hours on a device that said 9.

I've always considered going to rechargible, but I never found a rechargible brand that would outlast a normal generic alkline without needing to be recharged more and more.

Talking I like the one that michael jordan advertised....

I can't remember the name, but a while ago michael jordan advertised some enviromentally safe rechargables....

    Those work good

    but non-rechargable, I prefer a EnerCell(AKA DuraGiser......)

    my favorite brand....

Wink kb244 what is the toy and where do you stick it

Who cares.....boring.....Dennis that was one bad joke.....

Just go down your local Woolies and buy the cheap generic brand, they last as long as the over hyped ones. We got ACME batteries here........ok so you have to enjoy the road runner cartoons to get off on that........

    Re-chargable and environment

And how much damage is being done to the environment by cheap plastic battery recharges being dumped.........
