    Win XP Moniter problem

It seems if I use the video drivers it defaults with, which seem to be correct with what I know I have...my moniter will not allow me to size it to the full extent of the screen.

So I uninstall it, everything seems to be fine, in fact I get more settings more resembling how the true form of my drivers look....But WinXp has a nature of not allowing a TIHNG to get past the hardware detector and in reinstalls automatically...So instantly the drivers are put back and the problem repeats.

Go into Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced and set things up the way that you want them. Then, restart. It used to be that you had to repeat the procedure twice to get them to lock it. I still do it for good luck.

Then should then stay with the driver that you have installed.
